A Chapel in the Woods

Story In the woods between towns, there is a mysterious lake whos tide swells greatly during the day and sinks deep in the night. Ages ago, at the lakes edge was a tall chapel. What must have once been a great feature, grew degraded by constant storms and rising water levels. Barricaded and weathered, the chapel was left to be swallowed by the waters growing edge. On some nights, when the lakes tide is at its lowest, the chapels silhouette can be made out against the moon, emerging from the lake to reclaim its place.
