한국 시조인 화비화(花非花-백거이)를 모티브로 삼아 인생에 대한 이야기를 주제로 삼았다. 나의 생애를 지나오며 세상을 상상하고 그리던 때와, 반대로 내면이 무언가로 가득 차 밖을 볼 수 없는 때, 모든 것이 사라지고 그저 하늘을 바라보고 있을 , 결국 소멸하기 때문에 더욱 빛나는 나의 마지막 순간을 상상하며 만들었다.
