In Alien Chess, your objective is to capture the opponents king. However, this is a difficult task because you cannot move a piece until you learn its move pattern from your opponent. Learning a pieces move is called an "Observation." Observations can be used in a rematch, giving you a better chance of winning. As such, Failure in the previous match is Progress in the next.
