Chess vs Bunnies

Each turn every bunny will make copies of themselves in any empty adjacent square (not diagonally). Can you find a strategy to capture them all using chess pieces? Also includes a bonus level where the objective is to cover every single square of the chess board using a standard set of chess pieces (no pawns).
