Conways Game of Life is a cellular automaton created by John Conway in 1970. This implementation of the Game of Life is a wrapped square grid of cells (which forms a torus). Each cell is either alive or dead. Every cell interacts with its eight neighbors. The cells adhere to the following rules: Any live cell with fewer than two live neighbors dies, as if by underpopulation.
