Henry and Jane are both lonely people with no friends. But in order to defeat the evil spirit terrorizing their village, they must bond with others in the village of Aden. Help the villagers with their various problems to gain "relationship bond points." These points equate to your attack power. If an enemys attack power is greater than your bond power, you will not be able to defeat the enemy.
