HELLION Prototype

Fight through endless hordes of enemies in this endless, 2D arena-shooter. Encounter a variety of difficult bosses, and get points to upgrade your weapon firerate. This is a prototype - its not particularly pretty, and is very rough around the edges. Please give feedback, especially on gameplay! The plan is to eventually develop it into a full roguelike experience where you battle through 9 circles of hell.
