How Do You Fly This Thing?

This is an entry to the GMTK Game Jam 2020, and its a retro space-themed shoot em up where you play as a rocket ship fighting off enemies. However, sometimes your shots go awry, flying off in random directions and sometimes not flying off at all! In addition to this, your engine seems faulty - sometimes you move side to side, but sometimes you rotate on the spot. Good luck!
