Jakes Field of Dreams Baseball honors the life of Jake Vollmer, who was diagnosed with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy, and passed away in 2012. He persevered in becoming the greatest sports fan he could, cheering for all who played the games he could not. He wanted all kids to be able to experience and have the thrill of being a player.
