You need to use your special ability of saving creatures life state and load/ recall it in right moment otherwise poor creature will fall into oblivion. Controls: Click on creature and choose right moment to save its life state, when needed load saved life state. "S" - save & "Space" - load. You can rebind in pause menu options.
