Nathan is a young boy who simply cant figure out the puzzle that is words and letters. To him, those words and letters are part of a world he can never understand. So, he creates his own world, the world of Literate, where rabbits are made of letters-- letters he can understand--and talk to him about the troubles with his reading and with his father.
