Every day, more than 100 people die from opioid overdose in the United States. In 2016, the number of deaths caused by drug overdoses increased by 21 percent, with opioids causing two-thirds of them. We created a three-level game that simulates the life of a recovering opioid addict. The goal is to overcome obstacles in order to collect 12 sobriety tokens, which represents being clean for 12 months and officially in remission. -Synthesis Game Studio Bryce Bozadjian, Hannah Franklin & Matt McManus
