Othermind: Pipe Dreamer II

A traveler sailing on a small boat to an unspecified destination (who goes by the name of "Lauren") realizes that her boat has used up a lot of gem power. With the last few Lauren has, she lands on a nearby island in search for enough gems to last her the whole journey. Although the adversaries on the island are far larger than anything Lauren can handle on her own - she luckily has the power of life manipulation allowing her to take control of almost any being she can see and trek through the islands challenging environments using the creatures that pertain to it.
