The year is 2192. The world is finally recovering from a devastating war, and the Earths surface is still pocked with craters where the anti-matter bombs left their mark. One village, seemingly untouched by the horrors of the conflict, was earmarked for investigation by the UKs National Institute of History - but all of the researchers theyve sent have disappeared without trace. Two agents of the Institute, archivist Yolande and her clerk, Ford, are dispatched to find out how the village is so well preserved… and ideally to determine the fate of their colleagues.
