Short game/demo inspired by Ikaruga made for the global game jam 2022 (jam theme "duality".) GGJ project page Instructions: Arrow keys: moveZ: ShootX: Focus mode (move slower and stronger shots, uses energy)C: Change polarityP: PauseESC: Return to main menu Your ships shield can absorb bullets of the same polarity/colour. Absorbing bullets charges your ships energy which can be used to fire stronger shots while focused. Enemies of the opposite polarity take twice as much damage and score twice as much points.
