Propelling (VMJ2020 3of10)

I didnt have any long blocks of time so I ended up chipping away at this across three days. In a twist that no-one could have predicted, my idea of what this was going to be changed quite a lot in that time. I really didnt want to/couldnt do anything sound-related so I decided to interpret the image as a jellyfish among some ripples instead. The thing that initially excited me about this was the problem of representing the creatures tentacles in a way that is simple and sort of iconic, but I wasnt able to figure anything out so this version has no tentacles.
