After the downfall of Beacon, Yang is left stranded at home in Patch. Ruby had left for Mistral despite her warnings, and she is left alone. But not for long. Unexpectedly, Weiss shows up at her house and over the next weeks, the two of them find comfort in each others presence, even enough to learn a little more about each other.
