In my 2D shooter, I made these modifications: - I reskinned all of the assets to have a more pixel art feel (except the earth, which already fit pretty well), including animated enemies, projectiles and player sprite. - I added friendly space stations that serve as extra controllable firepower.- I added an Earth which must be protected by preventing the force field around it from being destroyed by the aliens. - I added a usable shield which you can toggle with right click to block attacks.
