The Oregon Trail is a re-release of the original game, released on Apple Arcade in 2021, with new quests, additional events, modern lighting, and visual effects. The game is something of a mix of a quest, adventure and arcade. The name of the game is related to the Oregon Trail that really existed in the 19th century. The player chooses a profession: a banker from Boston a carpenter from Ohio or a farmer from Illinois, names the squad members and purchases supplies.
