Trust Me, Trust Me Not is a visual novel where the player gets ready to attend a beach party theyve been invited to while experiencing the effects of mind reading, a type of cognitive distortion. The player must navigate through several social situations and make good decisions based on how they feel while intrusive distorted thoughts try to convince them to choose negative or harmful ones. The goal is to make it to the beach party and make some friends, learning when to ignore the distorted thoughts and when to trust your gut along the way.
