You Only Lose Once

A very short submission for the 2021 GAMEHIGHED game jam. The game is a 2D platformer shooter rogue-like with procedurally generated levels and persistent weapon upgrades. You only have one life in each run but you keep all upgrades and gradually become more powerful and eventually youll be able to finish the game in a single run. At least that was the idea. The game is far from finished and only contains one world, one environmental hazard (spikes) and one enemy (barnacle).
