This is the most confident thing FromSoft has made and the one I'd point to if someone asked what they're actually good at.
Every other game of theirs lets you negotiate with the difficulty. Overlevel, summon, respec, find a broken weapon. Sekiro removes all of it. There is one character, one core weapon, and one correct answer to every fight, and the game will not let you past until you can perform it. That sounds punishing and it's actually the opposite — because there's no escape hatch, the game can tune every encounter precisely, and nothing in it is unfair in the way an overlevelled Souls boss can be trivial.
The posture system is the best combat mechanic they've designed. It turns fighting into a conversation where you're trying to talk over someone.
Genichiro is the wall that teaches you the game. Everyone who beat him knows the exact moment it clicked.
